TOPIC: Identifying Relevant Relationships

Identifying Relevant Relationships 2 years, 8 months ago #9

There are 168 hours in a week. After sleep and other necessities, we are left with about one hundred hours of free time for work, family, socializing, entertainment, meditation and other pursuits. To identify your relevant relationships, follow this exercise:
1) Make a list of all the people with whom you have an important relationship. For the sake of this exercise, start with the first twenty to thirty people who come to mind.
2) Estimate how much time you spend in the conscious presence of each person? Count how many hours you spend interacting with those on your list by week, month, or by year.
3) Sort your list according to time spent in conscious relatedness. Put the person you interact with the most at the top of this list.

MQ: The first person on your list has the privilege of having the relationship that is most relevant to your awakening, hence most relevant to your ability to participate in the co-creation of a new world.

EVOLUTIONARY POINTER: Your relevant relationships always represent the point of focus within. This can range from a gentle Self-interest all the way to ego-based struggling.
